Comments: A home recipe from Heather’s Aunt Jenny, the pastries are ideal for party appetizers. They were demolished almost as quickly as they took to make. We served them before the fried rice. The pastries are a perfect combination of buttery and savory – sure to be a hit with anyone.

 It is easier to handle the squares if you cut the dough into 16 (instead of the suggested 32) triangles.

Another useful (and much cleaner) trick is to compress the cheese and onions together into a ball before placing it into the triangles.
