This one of the best things we’ve cooked together thus far! Absolutely amazing! It’s SO simple too!

We also used frozen pretzels that took only a couple of minutes to heat up.

The Recipe:

We used allrecipe.com’s “Cheese Dip with Beer”

  • 1 (8 ounce) stick of  shredded Cheddar cheese – we used sharp orange cheddar

  • 1 (8 ounce) package of  shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1 (8 ounce) stick of cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup beer – we used 12 oz. of Sam Adams Boston Lager

  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt

  • We added minced garlic and mustard powder to taste!

Melt the cream cheese in a large saucepan over medium heat; stir in the Cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, beer, and garlic salt; heat, stirring continually, until all the cheese is melted; pour the hot cheese mixture into the bread bowl.
